FAQs Summary

Following the webinar, the DfE have now published a summary of the most asked questions in the live chat.

The document is neither statutory guidance nor formal non-statutory guidance. It is a useful (DFE-published) reference document for interpreting the guidance laid out in Keeping Children Safe in Education, relating to the Single Central Register.
  
Louis Donald, who presented the webinar said: 'I am really pleased that the department have released this FAQ note; We have spent a lot of time on this document, and I believe the DfE have offered some sensible guidance points in it, which answers the questions colleagues ask the most, and provides clarity to schools & academies on Section 128, re-checking DBS and overseas checks.'
